Wacky Search & Listing Procedures?

Can anyone tell me what is going on with the search function?  Used advance search option to search for one of my items while signed out of my account.  Came up when I searched by the item number with a bunch of other unrelated items.  When I searched by the exact title of the listing nothing could be found.  It actually gave me a message to narrow my search.  How much narrower does it have to be beyond the exact title and why would it come up third down the list when you specifically search for the item number?   That makes no sense at all.

When listing an item, I get it listed and preview the listing, but when I go live with it the sales tax notation on the shipping & payments tab isn't there.  However, when I am able to pull up my listings while not logged in, the sales tax notation displays correctly.  What is wrong with this site?

Is eBay experiencing the same sort of issue that plagued West World in that movie?

Many searches are getting ZERO results in the last week or so and are resolving to some sort of eBay product page with a 'see all' link.

eBay has been trying to make changes in the search engine, but you do not hear a peep out of them, typical.
