who bought from me on 8/2 with item delivered 8/9!
Says, in part:
Hello stuff4divas,
We had to cancel bids for the buyer, xxxx, because they aren't registered on eBay
To help you avoid this situation in the future, consider setting a Buy It Now price and requiring buyers to make an immediate payment.
We recommend you take the following actions if this buyer won the item:
- If you haven't received payment, don't complete the sale or send the item to the buyer.
- Don't communicate with the buyer directly.
- Verify any payments you've been notified of by logging into your payment account (or other online payment service).
- If the buyer requests a refund or additional payments, don't send any money without contacting eBay first.
- If you've already sent the item, try contacting the shipping carrier to find out if you can stop shipment.
In these types of situations, we may, at our sole discretion, decide whether to credit the fees for removed listings.
FYI- All my listings are BIN with immediate payment .
Oh well, better late than never? Now I don't know if they'll reverse the payment I received.
Anyone else have this happen? If so, did they reverse the payment?

We had 2 of these in early summer and we kept the money for both. On the one, we never heard another peep from e-bay. On the other one, we had to prove it was delivered (it was) but on both the Buyers were NARU and both should have received their items well before we were notified. No idea what the deal was on the one, the other was an order to a Freight Forwarder buyer, who was now NARU. Pretty sure we received feedback on the one.
Same thing though - we do not do auctions. (it's e-bay, have they not figured out 80% who sell here do not do auctions?)
Good luck - I printed off my 2 transactions just in case, so that I would have all the info, including Buyer info. These NARU buyers tend to create "new" accounts and work their magic over and over, returning often to the same well.

I have received the same message before!
makes you wonder what eBay security / buyer verification is doing!
Maybe the issue is with Adyen! A Dutch payment company.

Very confusing message since you apparently had already been paid and shipped the item. Not sure what difference BIN with immediate payment would have made since obviously the buyer would have been able to pay in both instances and you would have also shipped the BIN item.
Amazing that eBay is too lazy or to incompetent to simply check the tracking information to figure out that the item was delivered. Also amazing that a buyer who is not properly registered can actually bid on, or buy something.

I think buyers should be "verified" just like sellers. Sure would fix many credit card charge backs.

I have had ths happen to me at least 20 times over the years and all I can say is I want the sale.
shipping to a sellers who is NARU after I shipped is not risky to me...........they pay I ship
of course they always seem to go Naru after I shipped but I have never used the recall a package thing.
if I was a buyer and paid for an item I would expect it to be shipped
I have never really had any problems with a buyer who went naru after I shipped

thank u katz for that info
this buyer's account is just over a year old with over 1500 buyer transactions, almost 200 within the past month, leaving several positive feedbacks for sellers within the past month
eBay now designated his account as NARU 'Not a registered user'
Good call on making a copy/screenshot of the transaction, Thnx!
