THERE IS A PROBLEM.....the buyers may have missed other opportunities to acquire their needed items and wind up with NOTHING or paying higher prices later. WHY does eBay, after all these YEARS, still NOT have AUTOMATED computerized programs in their system to STOP these sellers from doing this activity. If I CAN TELL by looking, WHY eBay CANNOT? Like www.ebay.com/itm/233984388014, who is obviously offering THE LOWEST price on the internet for this item and only has 6 previous "sales", for which the buyers reviews are for non-electronic items that do not fall in his area of sales and he is a relatively new eBayer starting on Dec-28-20 in United States. COULD this be legit...maybe, but since I bought and paid for THREE days ago, I have not received anything telling me it has been sent........duh...WAKE UP EBAY WE ARE BEING SCAMMED.....AGAIN

Perhaps if you wrote the code to find these sellers and sent the code gratis to ebay, ebay would put it to good use?

So you can tell just by looking, why did you buy?

Sounds to me like you were willingly scammed.

If I CAN TELL by looking, WHY eBay CANNOT?
@captain77450
If you suspected something wrong with the listing, why did you purchase it instead of reporting the listing?
A cursory glance suggest a seller who is dropshipping which may delay sending you tracking? or it could be something else.

Could be a problem. May not be a problem.
if it hasn't been sent yet you will not get notification of such at this point.
Your purchase was less than 48 hours ago.
Seller seems to be a "drop-shipper"

Take a deep breath! Seller has five day handling, so I wouldn’t expect that you have this item within a few days of purchase.

If a listing is too good to be true -- such as a new item that is selling for a fraction of its retail cost -- that is certainly a warning sign. And if a relatively new seller is suddenly selling thousands of dollars worth of multiple quantity listings at fire sale prices with free shipping from overseas with extended handling times and very long shipping estimates, you should be very concerned, particularly if the items are expensive electronics, cameras, musical instruments, tools or outboard motors.
In general, you can avoid a lot of headaches by choosing to purchase only from established sellers that have recent and past positive feedback as a seller for selling items in the same category that you intend to buy. If someone is selling a dozen apple watches, but has no feedback, or only has feedback as a buyer, or only has feedback for selling dress patterns or fishing lures (actual examples I have seen), perhaps wait until they have a track record of positive feedback for selling electronics before you buy from them.
Some scammers have gotten cleverer -- and now appear to be completing a few phony transactions using low or zero feedback accounts to provide positive feedback for their most recent scam items. If you know what to look for, this is easy to spot. Particularly if the seller has just sold a few dozen items in the last couple of days and has already received feedback. In some cases, scammers will provide incentives for buyers to provide feedback immediately to entice other buyers, so if you notice red flags, do not assume everything is legitimate because there are a few recent positive feedbacks -- look at the overall pattern of seller behavior, and how long they have actually been selling such items.
You might miss out on a good deal from a new seller once in a while, and nothing can guarantee that you won't still run into a scammer anyway, but you can avoid a lot of potential problems by choosing to do business with established sellers. Anyone can put together a listing that looks nice -- it is not hard at all to simply copy an existing listing -- but it is much harder to create a history of consistent sales and positive feedback.
It is always better to avoid giving your money to a scammer in the first place, rather than have to go to great lengths to get it back.
Typically you have to wait until the last estimated delivery date has passed to start an Item Not Received claim on eBay; if the seller is removed and eBay does not send you a message about that, and if you can no longer find the item in your Resolution Center, you can start a similar process through your PayPal account (if you used PayPal) or your credit card account. There are various deadlines that have to be met at each stage, and you must take care not to make more than one claim about a single transaction through eBay or PayPal at a time or your claim may be dismissed. Generally you are better off trying to go through eBay first, then PayPal, then your payment source.
If the seller actually ships something (but not your item) and can provide a tracking number that shows delivery, you must file a Significantly Not As Described claim (and typically return the item), as a valid tracking number that shows delivery would cause you to lose an Item Not Received claim. There are other scams that involve shipping an item to another location in your zip code which can complicate matters further.
Bookmark the seller's feedback page so that you can monitor that to see if the seller's account has been removed from eBay, just in case the item listing disappears.

For all you people asking WHY I bought it if I knew.......well if you were in the market for a NEW MERCEDES and it came with a "pay for what it says or get your money back", "send it back for FREE" AND it was HALF the cost of the exact thing you wanted.......why wouldn't you buy it? DUH...what kind of question?

@captain77450 NO! Intelligent people would understand that the MBG is not a toy to be played with, but a tool to only be used in extreme cases, and back away from too good to be true offers.

Because the person making the sales pitch is quite likely a scammer that does not actually have a Mercedes to sell, and I would prefer not to give my money to a scammer and then have to jump through hoops to try to get my money back.

So it sounds like your criticism of eBay was premature and mistaken.
LOL, DUH. WHO CARES?
It appears that you are the one who cares. You seemed quite passionate in your original post.
and BESTBUY MATCHED THE PRICE
In your initial post you said that the item you bought on eBay was "obviously THE LOWEST price on the internet". But now it appears you were mistaken about that, too.

You're more or less quoting the script of a very common auto scam seen both here and on Craigslist, right down to the ridiculous promise that you could send the car back for free if you didn't like it. No one with any critical thinking skills would fall for that, but many do. Hopefully you were not one of them.

Hey alcofoever, why is there no PERCENTAGE RATING on your profile if you sold 3185 items?
