I am new to ebay as a seller. For the last 2 weeks Ive posted some items and boosted with ebaY promotion option. I have no sales. I have seen the same item I listed sell for 10x what Im listing for. Very frustrating. Any ideas how to  generate more views or make a sale?

They might sell for that much, but they don't get paid.

Have a great day.

Not too many into 'collecting' anymore; and even far less into collecting Beanie Babies and all the high prices are all fake/false. There is no beanie baby worth $4000 or $9000.

You need to research more as well as if all you are going to sell is BB's, it'll be a while before someone comes along that is interested.

@bbqueenb

Are you actually checking SOLD listings?  Even if you are, it does not mean that the products were actually paid for.   Are you checking to see how many of the "same exact" products are presently for sale here?  Not meaning to sound derogatory at all, but I was under the impression that demand is not what it used to be for your product line.  I, of course, don't know everything indeed.

I would look at SOLDs for the same thing and see what is different in the price/format/photos/ etc. that is different from yours.  No feedback as a seller may influence a buying decision as well.

Our Church thrift cannot seem to give them away - priced at 99 cents NWT and they do not sell......

(Bought one the other day for a quarter for the fur babies to pay with...NWTs.  They hate when they are donated as mounds of them stay on the shelves, older ones leak their beans, etc)

This is just my take, but the Covid-19 months have made us all re-realize the un-clean, and and germ and virus omnipresent world we live in. I think there are some people, who equate plush, unwrapped objects with being unclean.  The *where has it been?* mindset. The only way to sanitize them, is to wash them or spray them. Both actions compromise the items condition.  This goes for "pre-owned" as  well as new. Possibly, I'm OTL in my thinking, and there's not a single individual out there, who has even given this a second thought. But like I say, it's just my take.

GIGANTIC waste of money.  Time, more money.

never ever going to sell for those prices.  Buyers won't pay that money, even if they win.

Diversify... Beanie Baby sales aren't going to happen often, if ever

I Agree, Plush is being looked at completely differently now!
