I purchased 9 1/5 yards of 1930's Spectrum Butterfly Barkcloth today. The fabric hasn't been used.
Because I can find few sold or completed listings for unfinished barkcloth I am having a hard time estimating its worth. I will probably put the cloth up for auctions because of this.
Question: Does anybody know if unused barkcloth is more valuable than the cloth that has been made into panels?

Its value will be due to the design on it some you can ask for the moon others you can't give away....

@estella5624
I would do auction, Since the small amount of items found in this pattern seem to be small pillows
Or a set of panels that show sold here in Dec for a good price & for sale again
Even a quick look on the internet shows this to be a nice pattern that is hard to find.
I would do auction for sure
Good luck

I have about 5 1/2 yards of the same, auctioned here - nothing. I find that people want vintage barkcloth, but they want it for $.99. I will keep it a bit longer maybe things will change here, but I doubt it. Try Etsy and Bonanza to see how it is listed there. I see no point in giving it away.
One more thing that I forgot: try listing it here at a BIN w/BO at the amount that you are willing to accept - that may work. Since I'm done selling here I totally forgot about the BIN/BO selection. Best of Luck!

Sold!
I received a lot of good avdvice from eBay sellers as well as friends that own estate sale companies and auction house. But, I decided to take yours.
