Its absolutely ridiculous that nothing is done to this sellers. I pointed out that the wood plane he was selling which he stated was a certain type is incorrect and then pointed out how he could tell what type it was. Let me preference this by saying its important to be accurate selling these vintage wood planes. Well this fine seller emails me a tells me that he's a real street """"The N word""" and if I get out of line he's going to go street on me. The he put my name in his list sarcastically and eBay has not done a thing to him. Just using the N word has cost people there job but as long as he's making eBay money seems to be no problem.

well you learned two lessons:
any good deed will be punished:
And some folks are just plain crazy.
Now if you truly feel threatened by this message contact your local police.
DO NOT COMMUNICATE WITH THIS USER AT ALL.
As for eBay don't bother as you have already found out.

Some people are just curmudgeons. The internet tends to bring out the worst in people as they can hide behind a shadow of perceived anonymity.
Lotta keyboard tough guys here on the internet.

I’m very sorry this happened to you. Not all, no, most sellers are not like this.
When someone sends me a message about one of my listing such as this. I take notice. From what I found is that there are people who seem to be an expert in whatever I’m selling. Sometimes I don’t have all the facts right and people looking at it knows more than me. I sure don’t want to sell the wrong thing, or get a not as described return.
Keep doing what you are doing. Block this guy and move on.

Sorry to hear that this happen. In the past I had made a mistake of listing a watch, with the wrong title. One person pointed out the mistake that I made. I did not get upset. I did the opposite, which was to thank him for the information. From there, I change the title to the correct one.

Dang, try to help an elder across the street, get beat by their cane..
In all seriousness @harrykal1 It's just the nature of some people. Nasty..
I send sellers advice like that VERY RARELY. I try to be really humble & sensitive to egos-
Only if I believe having the info would net them a HIGHER price... It's been well received but I got lucky..
You do you.. If you are kind enough to help a seller with added info and they appreciate it- enjoy the feeling. If they are nasty, egotistical, pickle-juice faced jerks,,,, well ignore 'em and keep it moving..

Some just do not ever think they are "wrong".
I never take the time hardly to let someone know - except once in a while where a title has the main item spelled wrong and you know no one is ever going to find it. Usually never get a response, but see they changed the spelling, etc. Personally, I would want to know, but others take it as an affront.
Everyone is confident any person emailing them about their item has some nefarious agenda. We get so jaded that we forget that there are actually nice people who are just trying to help.
Instead of getting upset about this guy's email, I would just remind myself that to be that angry and nasty must take a lot of effort/work and how miserable someone must be to act like that.
The delete key on your keyboard is there for exactly these scenarios.
Have a better/great day @harrykal1 !

Sometimes if I am stumped I list with WAAAY incorrect information because I know there is a busybody out there on ebay waiting to correct people and now I have the info I need.

Sadly the only requirement for becoming an internet seller on most venues is, as one well known poster likes to put it, a computer and a pulse.
Business sense, and even common sense, are not a requirement. These are the kinds of sellers that wind up coming to the boards, wondering why they can no longer make any sales. They don't see that their nasty manner drives buyers away.

This works for folks and their items as well as marketing:
If a person is asked what they would pay for an item belonging to some one else they give a price.
Now give a person an item (same item as above): and ask what they would sell it for it of course is usually higher price than they would give for it.
The user you gave info to thinks they are more correct than you. Its the way it works with people.
They took you help and see it as looking down on them or just trying for a lower price etc....
Such responses as you posted you received, are not worth the time to bother with in most cases.
Oh and put the user on your blocked bidders list to be safe.

Also, you can report items for inaccurate information, and they won't know whom to threaten 🙂
I usually am gracious at people pointing out mistakes, but it is easy to not see it as being as helpful as it's intended. Sometimes people go a little overboard and begin to sound in text like know-it-alls, and you can get a tiny bit annoyed if you are having a challenging day. 🙂 It's very hard to juggle everything as a seller. I have had two instances in 5 years of selling where I couldn't find an item I sold to ship it out... it was lost in my inventory.... The first buyer got ticked, yelled at me, left me a really harsh negative review, and when I sent her a review revision explaining it is probably lost, and I will probably find it, she accused me of trying to sell broken items, and threatened to watch my account, and if I listed the item again, she was going to report me to ebay.... no joke... like she really went full tilt. And then she tried to play me for sympathy stating she was buying the item for her special needs child and went into a full discussion about her trials and tribulations, and at the end she refused to revise the feedback asking me what I expected - that she was a special needs mother, and she came looking to buy something for her special needs child, and instead she ran into me. Funny thing is I found the item, a few weeks later *sigh* it had fallen off of a shelf, and somehow got kicked under a shelf.... So I eventually relisted it, and sold it to someone else. Second time just happened just over a week ago. I lost a sterling silver fork, that I had sold to a buyer. I went to pull it from inventory, and couldn't find it. Tore through everything on my shelves looking for it - tore everything apart on the shelves 3 times, I messaged the buyer explaining the situation, that I'm sure it was here, I just wasn't finding it. He was upset and turse with me stating he wanted me to keep looking for it, and didn't want me to cancel the order. So then I went tearing through everything else in my store.... all for a $40 silver fork.... When I reinjured my herniated back and my bad knee, at about 10:00pm the night before I had to send it off, I gave up. The next day I messaged the buyer again, and explained the situation, that I still wasn't finding it, and he again announced his dissatisfaction, and I told him, hey I don't want to disappoint my customers, that's not what I'm here for, if --- more like WHEN-- I find the fork, I'll send it to you for free. So I cancelled the order, and refunded his money. Less than a week later, I found the fork it fell behind a shelf and fell into a window well... , and well I then sent it to him free of charge. A $40 fork, and $8.20 in shipping. But it goes to show you... If you don't go full tilt on people and don't leave them negative feedback.... they will return the favor.... of letting them be human and make mistakes... they will fix things. Just give people a chance!

Harry,
Post the message you sent to the seller of the plane. Then I'll be able to comment.
