This has to be the worst quarter in the 13 years we have had an Ebay Store. Normally after the holidays they slow a bit, but this is bad... Not one sale since March 28th. Speaking with some of my suppliers, they are seeing the same trend. Some say that the change on Ebay might be the problem, Seller Hub... active content rules ect... This may not be whats happening, if any, a very small portion may be attributed to the slow sales. Weather and other factors may be in this as I sale a substancial amount of solar this time of year.

For any NEW SELLERS on Ebay... a few years ago, I started sharing my products on many Social Media outlets, sells increased dramitically... so if you don't have your store or products on any social media... put them on!

Well, lets hope this picks up soon... Share your thoughts if you are having the same drop in sales.

My peronal sales have been spotty and on a downward trend since 2008.

But in communications with several other sellers, they tell me there seem to be 12 hour periods daily within this past week where nothing at all sells.

I had $15,682.14 in net online income for March. $124.88 of it came from eBay.

But if it break it down by quarters, my sales tanked in September and really didn't recover too much. Thankfully my Christmas sales were decent enough.

March was my best month in a long time. April so started off good but as we get closer to the tax deadline and Easter, my sales have died down again. I haven't had a sale in 3 days.

I hope things pick up soon.

I have in the past done reasonably well on eBay. But things seemed to just shut down around the end of April 2017. I've had 3 sales in the month of May despite putting all my bracelets on sale. My sales usually bring in a few extra sales per month.

I know that jewelry is a saturated category but I normally have between 20 and 25 sales per month. Right now, my sales are down 49% from this time last month. Impressions are down, click through rate is down. This is like sticking me up!

I contacted customer service a few days ago and they said they would look into the matter. Of course I didn't hear back from them so I intend on contacting them today to discuss their findings. I actually don't expect that I will get an answer.

If eBay is not showing my items, no one will purchase them, it's that simple!

Not knowing what's happening or how long it will last, I can't afford to sit back and wait. So I've been looking around for another venue but have not yet found something that will suite my needs so I'm not exactly sure what to do.

It has been a challenging year. Mediocre sales followed by stagnant stretches of nothingness like this week.

It would help if Google sent traffic to eBay, they cut eBay off years ago and eBay seems to be at the mercy of Google, I don't think Google cares if eBay fell off the edge of the earth at this point.

I remember when I use to make money on ebay and now with your insertion fees even when you don't sell and item. Its awful. Remember when in 2005 I could make $5000.00 in 3 months. This time I only made $500.00 in 5 months. Its disgusting with fees from Paypal 10% (sell item for $5.00 pay .50 Paypal fee), Ebay fee on final value(expected), Ebay fee on Shipping fee (Thats just plain ridiculous), by the time I'm done I'm usually in the negative or a couple dollars ahead. And when you list an item and include all these fees no one will bid on it. Im very disappointed with Ebay. I'm going to stop selling and wait till they offer free insertion fees again.

I could not agree with you more on what you said. Ebay pushed me into a store since they stopped giving me free lsitings. Between me and my wife we are not selling enough to justify keeping our stores open. After my yearly is up im cancelling my stores and will just wait for promotions. EBAY is killing the sellers on here with all the fees that you cant make money anymore. Its really a disgrace what has happened . But EBAY does not care and will keep pushing more sellers off that are not making money..ITS GREED GREED GREED and how much money do they need to line their pockets....There are other sites I'm going to start looking into to sell. People are looking elsewhere to buy and sell these days
