Verify eBay Account - Will not accept document photo

For some reason eBay is requiring me to verify my account by submitting a photo of my drivers license. But I cannot get acceptance of my photo. Tried several different images of different sizes but each was rejected when I tried to forward to eBay. Called CS and they assigned a so called support expert for this kind of problem who then referred me back to eBay support without resolving my problem. eBay is holding my payouts until my account is verified.

The only thing I might try is cropping the photo to reduce the size. 

Submitting as a .jpeg or .png might be advantageous as well.

Seconded.  Photograph as clearly as possible - pull back, do not push in. Then crop.  Use a real camera, not a phone unless you have nothing else.   Despite the new and "improved" listing tool, the tech behind eBay is dinosaurware.

@dedinsmore   i don't remember the mb size limit, but it tells you the driver's license cannot exceed a certain amount of mb's, so you need to edit the size down if it is over that limit
