dear eBay, I've just had to verify myself 3 or 4 times todays already to poke around my own information. Looks like we have to verify our account for every new tab we're clicking. Give us a break!

Hello, We are not ebay in this forum. We are buyers/sellers who volunteer our time to help with issues.

 I have that issue occasionally it's the browser I use, not eBay. I use Edge by the way. When I to click on my own account info I have to log in..annoying yes. I believe it has something to do with security settings in your browser. I am not tech savvy by no means... just guessing. 

I'm sure someone will come along that is more knowledgable to clear things up.

At my end, I figured out that it was best to sign out and log back in. I think after having the eBay window open, the security / bot question pops up and will sometimes keep popping up. 

This is just security for you and eBay. I just received my June report from my internet security service and there was over 4,000+ blocks.

Certain parts of your information (such as addresses, payment methods, etc.) have always required you to verify yourself before you can access them, as well they should.
