I DO NOT KNOW why I bother buying valuable items & keep thinking I'll post them on eBay & make some real $$$ sales. Last 43 sales averaged $19. No matter how great my more expensive items are, they just sit & sit & sit without even an offer. Some are willing to pay $27,000 for a single hockey card. Forget about buying my uncut sheets from the Roy RC year. God forbid anyone spend 1/54th of that kind of money with my listings! lol It's hard enough getting $50 sales. All of the BIG sales go to the top 1% here, too, I guess. The rest of us are nickeled & dimed to the poor house. Oh joy! Can you tell I'm fed up with the constant disappointment on here? haha Good luck to us all. 🙂

It has been extremely difficult to sell things here within the last 3 months. And as far a selling really valuable things here, I just wouldn't.
Ebay used to be fun and a nice way to sell collectibles at a fair price, sometimes more. Not any longer. Just not worth the time and effort to list many things that won't be seen.

It looks to me like all the big sales go to the people who have the big hockey cards listed.
For instance, it appears that the $1500 Roy rookie card sales go to the sellers with PSA GEM MINT 10 graded cards, not the ones with curling uncut sheets with "pin holes" that look more like a dog chewed the corner off 🙂

The Roy RC is not in the corners & is flawless. None of the cards are affected by the pin holes. So, there goes your theory. 🙂
