Usually wake up to at least 10 orders

Today, NOTHING. Is eBay broke? Yesterday (Saturday), I had twice the number of packages to ship out, then one order last night but nothing today.

It's definitely been off for me the past couple of weeks.

How long have you been selling?  You've never had days with little or no sales before?  If so, that is extremely unusual.  Sales go up and down all the time.  It is part of online selling and usually nothing more sinister.

nothing is a sure thing, ...so why the fuss?

there are no guarantees in online selling, and certainly not any guarantee that any given seller is going to have x number of sales on any given day...

not having any sales on any given day is not eBay's fault...

Buyers may not be interested in anything on any given day...

@herecometheplayas

From my years selling on eBay I've learned over time once you see a pattern to anything, that pattern will disappear....suddenly. My last 3/4 months have been steady. July has been a trickle. Some buyers may be at the end of any benefits with the Gov. Some may be on holidays. Maybe all your treasures are no longer treasures. Hard to say. Anything and everything is possible when it comes to selling online.

We're in the dog days of summer. Typically there is a slow down mid summer until school is underway for a few weeks. With the pandemic, I suspect this year will have a larger slow down for most. People are probably holding off to see if they'll have a job or receive another stimulus check as well. What are you selling? This is the biggest factor. Demand tends to drop for non-essentials more than anything.

...general reply....

this is definitely the dog days of summer.My buddy who I get a lot of merchandise from even knows this,he does not have an account but from selling for him for 10 years at no reserve auctions you can bet he knows that it picks up when shool starts again

the same 50 items sold in no reserve acutons will definitely do better in the fall,thats just the way it is.

people fall back into a daily routine more so in the fall and stay that way until the following summer vacation period.

keep on listing/keep on selling

One of my accounts had 14 orders yesterday and only 2 orders so far today. I don't run auctions. All of my listings are BIN.

It's hard to assign any rhyme or reason to the fluctuations in sales here on eBay.

For the same reason that, at my B&M retail job, we can make over $10,000 one day and barely hit $2,000 the next.
