I saw a interesting item at the store today.
It was a flashing LED Halloween candy bowl.
I wondered if there were any for sale on ebay.
I did a search for "flashing LED candy bowl". I could not find it.
I widened the search to "flashing LED bowl". I could not find it.
After doing a more comprehensive search, I found two listings.
Both listings did not have the words "flashing" or "LED" in the title OR the description.
No wonder so many sellers complain that nobody can find their items.

Is that what it's called on the shelf, like does the bowl have a sticker or anything on it that refers to it as 'Flashing LED Bowl'?

The sticker on the bowl just says "light up bowl".
You would think that if you were describing it to someone
wanting to sell it, you might mention the flashing LEDs. 😉

True, but you would think the company would want to state that too.

LED refers specifically to Light Emitting Diodes. Maybe it was lit but not by LEDs. You did say that the one in the store simply said "light up bowl" which could have been a battery operated mini bulb similar to many of the night lights I have seen for sale?

I just spent the last hour searching for a specific "music box" by the brand.
After refining my search about 8 ways - I finally found 11 of them. Not a ONE has the brand name in the listing title and only 2 used it in item specifics or description.
No wonder is correct. Better titles/descriptions people! sheesh!

Those are the keywords I would have used then (front loading) because if someone wanted a bowl like that, that's probably how they would describe it, particularly if they had seen the product in the store and looked for it here.
LED for me would have been a secondary keyword, as would "flashing", but first I would have put the size and holiday keywords.
ETA: "Flashing LED" as a keyword set would be in the description (i.e., how it works).
