Using Markdown Manager

I cannot seem to sell much of anything unless I use Markdown Manager (MM). Sales are very slooooow until I offer a % of discount with MM.

What is the deal? Do the items get pushed to the top of the list for buyers just randomly browsing through a category?

I have been trying to figure out the best way to use MM as far as “length of time of the sale”. You have to run the “sale” for a minimum of 24 hours. I am thinking that it may be advantageous to run the “sale” for the minimum 24 hours and then continually repeat the “sale” daily for maximum exposure.

Thoughts?

Are there better ways to use MM?

@calntom  I personally do not think it changes your visibility.  I think shoppers see a sale and want to buy: everyone loves a bargain!  I use MM often as well.  I set it for the month and am done with it.

Happy 2018! May this upcoming year be a prosperous one!

Anyone else a user of Markdown Manager? I would certainly like to know how to use it more effectively.
