Usefulness of Webinterpret???

Is Webinterpret worth the hassle?  I know it's an automatic plugin that pushes our listings to multiple international Ebay sites.  4 issues I see...

1-98% of our sales still happen on Ebay.com.  VERY few items actually sell on these international Ebay sites

2-0 feedback buyers will buy the item and never pay.  We have it set up on Ebay.com to require immediate payment but don't know that we can set up to require that on these other sites.  Creates a whole bunch of headaches opening unpaid item claims on those "no shows".

3-It creates a filing mess.  Instead of 500 listings, we end up with over 3000.  Have to sort through way to many duplicates in the long run.

4-The currency exchange ends up killing us on large orders.  Seems like the currency exchange is much less or handled more on the buyer's end when international customers purchase on Ebay.com

Opinions?

Usefulness of Webinterpret???

We sell consumer electronics. I clicked the link a couple years ago and it automatically signed us up and and created 1000 listings without our permission. Since then...

1) Half the buyers purchase, complain about shipping and don't pay

2) Of the buyers who do pay and we ship

  a) There is no way to return so they end up filing chargebacks

  b) They don't understand their import laws and the item doesn't get delivered

  c) The item never gets returned and were out the money

  d) Webinterpret calls me up once a month trying to bully us into their paid service

Conclusion... Depending on what you sell it can be a benefit. For high priced electronics ($150-$500) it wasn't. After 2 years, all the item not received cases and chargebacks we ended up losing money. We finally got around to cancelling them last month.

My opinion is to stay clear of overseas shipping, say within your continent with countries that have good postal services. In your case, I would say Canada-USA. Anything overseas is just a hassle for shipping and returns.  I also don't suggest using Webinterpret, it's a waste of time.

Before committing to anything dealing with Webinterpret, be sure to to completely check out their fee structure.

Not saying 'NO' doesn't mean 'YES'.

The foolishness of one's actions or words is determined by the number of witnesses.

Perhaps if Brains were described as an APP, many people would use them more often.

but many CARE with the UNAUTHORIZED charges. After working many years with them, i chatched them charging me unauthorized charges of small quantities (25 us$) each month. I suspend my account but they tried to continue charge.

They sent me emails trying i return to be customer, but when i claim for my money back, they offer me to return me if i get customer again and unblock them from my account.

Then TAKE MANY CARE with WEBINTERPRET....they will charge you more than they say and later they will try to convince you (I do not want to say the legal word until the police confirm here)  to return to get back your money.

EBAY have a FREE Service that do the same. use it.
