I Bought a Lot of make up online to reasale on here and i told my daughter i would let her have an item from that lot but when sorting thru the items, she took and opened the wrong one. i Figured no big deal, I'll just list it as "used" but while trying to list it would only allow me to list as new... i looked around and turns out it is prohibited to sell used make up. My question is would it be safe to still list the item as new and in the description explain it is new/never used but with a broken factory seal? or would ebay consider it used and have an issue with it?
You could. But you have a lot more to lose, than you have to gain. It sounds like a big headache just waiting to happen. I would rather avoid a possible headache, than do something that I know going into it, might cause one.
