Uploaded tracking number, not registering

I uploaded a tracking number today for an item I shipped earlier this afternoon, when I look at my sold page it says that item needs to be shipped within 24 hours, and then I put the same tracking number in and it say it has been uploaded to a different sale and this is the only item I shipped out today What should I do I checked the whole page of solds and that number is not registered anywhere

Why would you upload the SAME tracking number to a different sale/order?

Wait a couple hours sometimes it takes a while for everything to congeal.

     If the tracking number is already attached to the item simply mark the item as shipped. I have had an occasional glitch where after adding the tracking number to the order it did not automatically update as shipped and I received similar notification.
