Really ebay? I am actually thinking about closing my premium store, what a joke. It's like a slap on the face.
I have 300K in inventory and one sale for $17 in the last 3 days.

eta: It was going great guns as a non store and getting promos left & right, then suddenly the freebies dried up so I upgraded to a starter and it's been crickets ever since (and not a freebie in sight either).
My daughter on the other hand decided to downgrade to a starter from a basic as she didn't have the time or inclination right now to source new stuff for listings, and ever since has been getting at least one, usually 2 free listing promos a month. Go figure.
downgraded from premium to starter. I noticed that I was not getting any promotional listing offers for months after the downgrade. I knew what I was missing since I was selling on two other non store accounts. Customer support said it was because I was not deserving of the offers. This account established in 2003 was not deserving but newly opened non proven sites with no ratings were????
After months I found that a box had been checked in my profile during the downgrade, do not send me offers. I did check that box. I found the error on my own. no help from several calls to support. After the correction, it was another 3 months before I got an offer.

i stay clear of ebay's "promotional offers" - always a "terms and conditions set forth herein" part.

WHOA! Just WHOA! Correct me if I am wrong but "Promotions" are supposed to be "random" right? Hasn't that been the Party Line for as long as we've been selling? How can reps be saying anything else? I have posted on more then one occasion that I firmly believe Promos are targeted ... and if what you say Customer Support said to you is true then they are IN FACT targeted and not random like we have been told ...

Just as on many other threads, the CSR either did not know what they were talking about or they misunderstood what the CSR said, or maybe just took it the wrong way.
At any given time Ebay has many different promos running. Some sellers are invited and some aren't. I think many of us have experienced dry spells from time to time. There doesn't have to be an agenda against any given seller for a dry spell to happen.
