Everytime a listing renews after 30 days, it shows omitted details needed even though I have previously said to not show me those blanks again when making the original listing update. If I didn't have an entry for that field the first time, why do you think I'd have one 30 days later? It is so time consuming since I have many items rolling over every day. The reason this happens is that many of the items requested are not applicable to the item being listed.

I have that happen once in a while. It’s really not that big of a deal. You either ignore the request to update recommendations or deal with it.

Yes, but when you have hundreds of items up there, it makes the overview and listings quite cluttered with them!

Hundreds? You have 208 listings.
I have over 3300 so your point is what? I don’t see any clutter with mine, those recommendations don’t show in your active listings page.
Besides it is recommended item specifics not required.
Your issue, IMO, is a non issue.

Yes, they do! Mine are in column #1 that is titled "Item Specifics."

It's even more fun when an item specific moves from "additional" to recommended....and then when it relists it shows up under the "needs item specifics" when it didn't when you list it.
I've not had a problem with renewed items needing the specifics again. usually answering the box once takes care of it.
I did once ask them to make a way to bulk check the box, instead of do it one by one. eBay's response:
download the items needing specifics, fix the specifics and upload.
