Unfair negative feedback

Hello

  I received my first negative feedback and I feel that is was unfairly given.  The buyer said the item received was small and dull, not like the pics.  I stated the size in the listing.  My pics are of the actual item and I do not touch up or enhance any pics.  They have left similar comments for other sellers.....  Had I known they were unhappy, I would have given a refund.  They have never contacted me and will not respond to any messages.  This is completely unfair and it **bleep** me off that eBay states the buyer has a right to their opinion, despite it being untrue.  Apparently lying is not against feedback policy, which is incomprehensible.  Unfortunately dishonesty is becoming the norm these days and honesty is punished.  Sad!  I am having a hard time accepting this.  Has anyone else had to deal with a similar issue?

Thank you, I appreciate your comments. It sucks though that I lost my 100% rating over this. At the very least, my response to their comments should affect their feedback rating.

This is why humanity can't get ahead. This is why the top 1% stay at the top. The ole saying 'the rich get richer, while the poor get poorer'. We are our own worst enemies. People will let things go, not even blink, when they have an issue with a big retailer. But they want perfection with a small seller, or a mom and pop shop. Small business is held to a higher standard than the wealthy, large corporations. And people will so willingly 'stick it to' the little guy, without any thought. If people would just stick together, and think before they react, the world would be a much happier place.

Buyers can't get negs. Buyers can't get less than 100% feedback

Wouldn’t they wash the linen before they made the pants? Why would a manufacturer ship out new items with faded labels? I totally see why she might HONESTLY think your ad was deceptive. I would have taken the return . This could have been a fixable issue.

As for feedback your response did you no favors. I wouldn’t buy from a seller who calls their customers liars. Also one who breaks the rules by leaving bad comments on their feedback. I hope your buyer knows she can have that comment removed.

Had the same thing happen to me recently. Even after they sent the item back and received a full refund they would not change their feedback that they had left before ever contacting me. I do believe there are some people out there that enjoy giving a negative to a seller with 100% positive feedback just to mess with them as this buyer had left numerous neg feedback for other sellers. Now if I sell anything of much value I look at the feedback the buyer has left for other sellers. Too bad. Anyway make sure you block the buyer.

Generally unhappy spiteful  people probably wouldn't give a big wealthy corporation  any trouble because they know they can't hurt them . Big companies have a lot of clout ,, good lawyers and a whole lot of money . It wouldn't be worth the trouble . However these types WILL prey on people they CAN hurt . Remember it's all about revenge on humanity  and so they'll pick the easiest target .  Tulips
