I had an iten returned as undeliverable, no receptacle. As well, the item was shipping box was badly damaged and the itens were slightly damaged. No sure how to proceed. Any advice would be appreciated.

your best bet is to just refund the buyer
of course you are going to eat the shipping when its not your fault but thats the way it goes
you can message the buyer and ask them if they are still interested and make a new listing if you need to

@ipre-2586Check with the carrier you used to deliver the item. Depending on what service you used, you may be able to file a claim with the carrier (not ebay) to get reimbursed for the damaged item. Make sure you keep all the packaging and have the tracking number you used to show to the carrier.
We had similar situation last week. An item was marked undeliverable - return to sender. We have messaged the buyer asking if they want a refund or if they want us to resend the item. We are still waiting to hear back.
If you have another of the same item and they want it, you can offer to send a Paypal invoice for the additional shipping.

Happened twice to me in the past few months. I ended up refunding both buyers. I blocked them so I won't be shipping to their invisible mail box again.
