Just had a Breg Polar Care Cooler removed by Ebay. They said it was becasue it required a prescription to purchase. I still see lots of them for sale that have not been removed. Does it have anything to do with the fact mine was NEW and others on Ebay are USED ??
thanks- for you help - selling here for 22 years and never run into this

Sometimes eBay's bots will spot something in the title or description that sets them off. We are not totally sure why but what we are sure of is that you should not attempt to relist it. When a listing is taken down and a seller attempts to relist it, it can cause eBay's system to go into rage mode and can temporarily suspend your selling account and sometimes the suspension becomes permanent.
We have seen this happening more frequently when a seller tries to relist an item that was taken down by bots. Those permanent suspensions are rarely reinstated either...as in you can never sell here ever again under any user id...all associated id's get the same slap so unfortunately, you will have to find another way to rid yourself of that item.

I just got a speeding ticket. I see lots of other people speeding and not getting pulled over. Does it have anything to do with .....
No it doesn't. You were just unlucky. Ebay will eventually catch the others.
Good luck and stay safe!

Nope. You were caught, and the others haven't been. (Or haven't, so far.) Lots of people run red lights, too, or speed, or jaywalk, or litter, but only some of them are caught.
The FDA considers that system as a Class II Medical Device, so it has to be prescribed by a physician or licensed healthcare practitioner.

I wouldn't call 3 of them a lot.

I would not call 3 a lot either ............... but there are currently 6 listed on Ebay. Day before yesterday there were more than that and many show up when you search SOLD.

They do not require a subscription they are available on amazon directly

@cperna451 @oregon2 The replies to this original topic are asinine, trying to compare this to "speeding" and what not. These people are just as "helpful" as ebay when they try to reply to a topic that they obviously have no knowledge of.
These devices are available for sale on amazon WITHOUT a prescription! There is no reason ebay should be taking these listings down, let alone "threatening to shut off my privileges". I mean, I could be selling a HAT on ebay and they could claim it's restricted and then I can never sell another hat again? **bleep** ebay. Get your **bleep** together. I can't even find a way to send them an email as everything I send back to them (my long rant with links, screenshots, etc to show it's not a "restricted device" just gets bounced back. eBay has become such a **bleep**-hole now. If I had the means to create an old-school ebay-like website, I sure would. Back when you could actually hold buyers and sellers accountable accordingly, not just punishing sellers all the time.
