In mid-April, I opened a new seller account, this one, and used File Exchange to upload 95 items to it. According to my seller page, I had limits of 500 items or $5000. By mid-May, I had the account settings setup, updated 1/2 of my listings with pics, and on May 12, 2019, listed 50 items using my 50 free listings, total price about $1000. I had 45 listings still in 'Scheduled' needing to have pictures added and other cleanup.
On May 13, at 00:22, ebay suspended my account, ended my 50 active listings and cancelled my 45 scheduled listings.
I contacted Customer Service, and got my account reinstated, and my listings restored to my 'ended listings' page. The email says I can relist all 95 listings. However, the Scheduled listings that were cancelled, are giving an error when I try to Relist them. "It looks like there's a problem with this listing.

- This item cannot be accessed because the listing has been deleted, is a Half.com listing, or you are not the seller."

Hi @thecygnarcollection*, the team that reinstated the listings has process the listings again, which may resolve this. Try relisting the items in a few hours. Unfortunately, if this doesn't resolve the issue then you will have to create new listings instead of using the relist/sell similar feature. Hopefully this isn't the case, but it is possible so I wanted to be sure you are aware.

Thank you Brian. That didn't resolve it.

I'm sorry to hear that. It looks like you will have to do as Brian suggested and recreate your listings. Not a good resolution to your issue, but it may be your only one at this point.

I’m usually either quite pro-EBay at best or philosophical about stuff I don’t love at worst....
But I think it is inexcusably pathetic for a modern internet platform to take down someone’s listings and be unable to provide any better correction than for the user to have to re-do all his/her work.
I won’t even speculate about what kind of easily addressed minor or non-issue would merit closing someone’s account and essentially pulling down their business, given that the whole thing was quickly (if sloppily) reversed.

And with no demonstrable effort at restitution, either.
Shopping coupons, some free postage, extra free listings, refund of FVFs or store fees... whatever, think outside the box...nada.

I've had it happen when Ebay deletes a listing. Not cancel it, completely delete it. Fortunately for me that hasn't happened often over the years.

Thank you rose; I feel a lot the same way, but didn't want to say it publicly. As an I.T. professional, I'm pretty certain changing a field in a database is all that's needed to let me relist. But, whoever is in CS has a script and it doesn't do that.
The questions they asked were basic. 'What paypal acct do you use' 'Whats your address' 'Are you using a
supplier? (for used toy soldiers? SMH)' 'Do you plan to continue selling?' I asked What Suspicious Actions prompted the takedown; the CSR said it was a generic message sent to everyone they take down. Who knows if that's true or not.
I was on the line with the CS agent about 15 mins. At the end, he said my acct was reinstated. I thought he said click 'Release' from the menu on the listing in the Ended folder, and my listings would go back up. After, I realized he said click 'Relist'. So I lost my 50 free listings for the month. My listings will wait until mid-June to go up again. And I'll dribble them in, 10/day for 5 days.
The worst part was, when I logged in while suspended, I get a full page warning stating I was suspended, no links to go anywhere else, and no ebay contact number to appeal. I had to google it. Seems like, if ebay likes money, they'd put the appeal contact number in the dead-end 'you're suspended' page.
I figure I lost the months listings and about 8 hrs of editing that I'll have to re-do. I'll also spend about an hour stripping out my File Exchange file and re-upload the "lost" listings.
Thanx, ebay!
