Unable to cancel an order

So I'm a seller and at the beginning of this month, one of my buyers purchased something from me and I received a paypal notification that it was an unauthorized purchase and they wanted a refund on paypal. I refunded it and paypal closed the case, but the order is still there and I can't cancel it because the paypal case is still open (which it's not) . It is taking up one of the five slots I have to sell for this month. How can I cancel it?

New seller have a restriction on the number and value of the lots they can list- whether they sell or not.

The failed transaction was one of those.

You won't be able to add another until next month (30 days).

You can call Customer Service - I believe they are back on the phones - and explain your problem.

You are allowed to ask that your restrictions be removed or changed once a month.

Most sellers pay their fees from a Paypal balance, or a credit card or bank balance attached to their PP account.

You can also pay directly, a credit card is easiest, if you have no money in your PP account.

The information you need is on your Seller Hub.

Are you trying to cancel the transaction in Ebay or PP?

Why would a fully refunded transaction in PP have an open case?  That doesn't make sense.  Call PP and get them to close it if it is saying it is open for some reason as there is nothing more you could do to that transaction if you wanted to.

I'm not at all sure how issues with PP can keep you from filing a cancellation in Ebay.  Do you have more details?

@krillsellerrbx

You always want to cancel the order through Ebay and not just refund on Pay Pal.

When you cancel on on Ebay, the buyer is refunded and you get your FVF's back.

Have a great day.
