Yesterday afternoon -- just about 24 hours ago -- I listed five items on my store. The items populated my store/storefront as usual. Nothing at all out of the ordinary.
Usually, I'll wait a few minutes after the items populate on my storefront and then I'll go into the Marketing>Discounts tabs to access my "Discounts" page. Once I click on the "Items" link that shows how many items are available on my store (which is also equal to all the items available in our current storewide markdown), I'm then able to access all the items in my store that aren't part of my markdown sale and then easily add them to my sale. This usually takes a few minutes to get my newly listed items as part of my sale.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to mark these items down for a full day as there's no option that I can find to perform adding items to the markdown sale that I'm currently running. I called eBay (It was a very nice phone call with the customer service rep) and I was told that the items needed to "Index" so they can show up to be available to be marked down. eBay also stated that this could take up to 48 hours. In all the years that I've run sales, this is the first time that there's been this long of a delay from getting an item listed to adding it to a store sale. A mark down process that normally takes about 3-5 minutes has now stretched into 24 hours. I know it's been only 24 hours of the 48 hours but I thought I would inquire to see if others have been experiencing this type of situation as I wait to get these items marked down on my store.
Is this happening to anyone else or am I missing a step somewhere?
Yesterday was the first time that I had been on the store to list in about a month as we had shut the store down for 30 days due a close family member being in the hospital.
Thank you very much for your assistance. Have a great day!
Cheers,
Jeffrey
