Got a neutral feedback saying that the buyer tried to contact me a week before the auction closed and I never responded. They also said the shipment arrived late. I checked my messages and nothing from them at all, ever. Not even offers. And they bought this item the Friday before Christmas and it arrived The Tuesday after. That was actually 8 days earlier than ebay told them it would arrive. Ebay removed it for me.

Some times buyers get mixed up as to who's who where their sellers are concerned. I once got a negative from a woman who said her wine glasses arrived broken. I have never sold wine glasses ever. Ebay removed it. 😄
Glad it worked out in your favor.
Happy Selling and New Year.

Thanks. You too!
I guess the fact that the feedback page shows a picture of the item isn't enough for some people.

Sorry that happened to you.
Like Doggie said, it may be that the buyer had multiple open transactions and may have gotten yours and another confused.
These same people will pitch a nutty and then realise they were mistaken. Do those same people make an apology? Not always.

Once again, I hate to beat a dead 2006 horse but equal Seller & Buyer feedback would give pause before the Negative / Neutral button is pushed with the same ease at it is for the Buyer..
Now I'll hunker down it my hole and wait for the incoming..
lol
wish me luck!

You say, "Ughh, Customers..." I say, then send them to the rest of us if they annoy you so much.
You get one neutral, which was removed, and you give an "ughhh" to all your customers. Are you sure retail is for you?

I commented on a post. I didn't post it !
I've Never had Neutral / Neg Feedback!
However, over the 22 + years I've had plenty of crazy buyers with "Retail" expectations from an online flea market..
But I will take you up on your offer and send them your way next time I run across one!
I appreciate it!
Thanks!
Your the best!

Customers getting confused as to where or who they bought an item from is one of the reasons I put in a packing slip with a thank you written on it. Hopefully it jogs their memory. Especially around Christmas people are buying multiple items from multiple platforms.

It’s also possible the buyer just uses the exact same verbiage for all their feedbacks. This has happened to me tons of times where I get a positive feedback with a specific detailed comment that totally doesn’t have anything to do with the order like or even a totally negative comment. Every time this happens I check the buyer’s feedback left for sellers and low and behold I see the buyer mass copy/pasted the same comment over and over and over. So it’s possible the OPs buyer did intend on giving a neutral feedback but just copy/pasted an old comment. Either way the OP got lucky.
