It seems like 90% of my cancellations & return request are coming from mobile device buyers, that seem to only look at the small picture (because mobile) and title.
They don't even bother to read the detailed descriptions.
I've had a couple of return request where the seller claims, "Item not as described" then they point out defects that were clearly described in the description and photos. Their excuse, "It was hard to see on their phone."
Why should I be responsible for them not being able to see the defect because the photos are too small on their phones? Of course eBay sided with the buyer, no surprise there.
This is more of a rant than anything else, because I know eBay doesn't care, as long as they show the initial sale.

Indeed, t'is a not so brave new world of tiny minds. Resistance is futile.

Thing is, on my phone, I can zoom in photos much closer than I can with a desktop, so not being able to see the photo really isn't an excuse. I don't know of any touchscreen phone that doesn't have pinch zoom.

More than 280 characters and the mind just gives out.

Did you ask a U.S. CSR to review the claim? If the buyer claims defects that are clearly mentioned, it should go in your favor.
