USPS contacted me saying the address Ebay provided for an item I sold recently was "incomplete". When I looked at the particulars for the sale I see that the purchaser's name is different from the ship to recipient and has a very low feedback number. Thanks for your help. UPDATE: just found out this was another pfishing text and just a coincidence that I had just mailed a pkg!

All of that other stuff doesn't matter.
As long as you shipped it to the address on the ebay label, you're covered.

Who at USPS contacted you? local hub? can you get package back?

You ship to the address at the label; any changes will release you from seller protection under eBay money back guarantee. Best to let USPS eventually return to sender, you, and then contact buyer on this matter. Regarding the different name, who knows, it could have been a gift to a friend, relative, etc, that do not have an eBay account. The low feedback, again who knows, but we all started at zero, could be an infrequent eBayer, might be sign of scammer as well, not saying it is.

If the buyers name is different than the ship to it may be a gift and they don't know the full correct address. Incomplete may mean an apartment or suite number was absent, or something like street, avenue, trail, court or terrace needed to be designated. You can google the address to see why there is an issue. It may auto correct anything that is wrong.
