hey guys,

anyone have a trick to get ebay to either print the guaranteed by on the label or otherwise tell me if it will go one day or two day? I usps priority express flat rate, and frequently, i check the transit time on USPS, find it to be one day, and then buy it on ebay, and it goes two day.

What gives?

I know the cutoff time at my post office. It isn't rocket surgery.

As Sam says, it has to do with the PO cut off time.

I'm not sure the guaranteed by date prints on the label.

There is also a time frame based on the destination. Some rural or remote locations are 2-day delivery for Express Mail, regardless of the time of day when you ship the item.

At usps.com, you can use their tool to figure the estimated delivery date between any two ZIP Codes.

If I ordered from you with free overnight shipping, how do I get it before the estimated delivery on Oct. 9th? Since you have a 4 day handling time?

Everyone has options. Just be sure the best option is right for you.

I added handling time because ebay kept calling my holds for a safe delivery as being late.

If you ordered today, you would likely have it wednesday. My customers don't care what ebay says, I deal in live shipments.

Are you perhaps inputting a different dropoff time in the USPS calculator than the time you are shipping?

Priority Mail Express is a guaranteed way to send packages to a destination overnight or in one to two days, including Sundays and holidays. It is available to most locations.

You can get a delivery time estimate here if you know the person's zip code and what time you'll be dropping off the package.

Did you know that Express is 1-2 days and First Class and Priority is 1-3 days? That info is supplied by the PO. https://pe.usps.com/text/dmm100/choosing-service.htm

Is getting it one day sooner worth the higher cost of Priority Express? As a buyer I wouldn't want to pay for Express shipping if the only benefit is it's delivered to me one day sooner. Maybe as an option I might choose it, Otherwise if I only have one choice please give me the cheaper regular Priority Mail, flat or callculated,,,,

Are you trying to pre-figure an expected or guaranteed shipping time? You don't need to pre-figure anything. eBay does it for you. They calculate a shipping date based on your handling time plus the transit time from your zip code to theirs. You see shipping details shipping it to yourself so it should always say 1-2 days to yourself. If you input another zip code in the calculator it will show the shipping tme to that zone.

I bought something on a Mon with fast and free delivery date by Fri. (Expedited Priority Mail) It was coming from ONE state away. I should hope to shout I should get it by Fri if they mailed it on Tue. I actually got it Wed.
