USPS Alert

I was just on the USPS website and they had this posted ~ for anyone who has shipments going to this area and who wants to alert their customers.

ALERT: DUE TO HURRICANE FLORENCE, MANY POST OFFICES IN THE PROJECTED PATH HAVE OR WILL SUSPEND OPERATIONS.
DELIVERIES AND OTHER SERVICES IN THE REGION WILL ALSO BE AFFECTED.

USPS Alert

Thank you for posting this.  It doesn't hurt to remind people that weather DOES affect deliveries, communications and electricity.  Add to that, if someone loses their inventory or a UPS/USPS trailer gets swept away, there isn't a thing anyone can do about it.

I just hope everyone in the affected areas, including their pets, homes and food will be spared as much as possible and they get power back sometime in this year.  Nothing's funny about not being able to go home or not know when you will be able to.
