UPS or FedEx?

Hi there!

I've previously asked my colleagues on charging for premium shipping services, like choosing and charging UPS or FedEx on all packages instead of First Class and Priority. While I still prefer to serve my buyers with the private shipping sector, I appreciate hearing others' opinions.

I want to ask a similar question to my colleagues: Assuming that we ignore USPS and only look at UPS and FedEx, which one do sellers prefer?

From my own experience, it's a mixed bag. Assuming I'm shipping an iPad to LA from Miami as an example, UPS and FedEx Ground rates are relatively the same ($9.99 about). FedEx charges somewhere around $12.50 to $15.00 for 2Day guarantee, but UPS charges $39.99 approx for Next Day Air Saver, while FedEx overnight rates go into the 50s and 60s. 

Taking rates into effect, and considering personal preference between the two, features, do sellers prefer UPS or FedEx between the two?

I don't use either one.

Neither one is convenient to me, while I have my choice of 4 post offices depending on what I am doing that day.  Most of my items weigh 2 pounds or less, so the USPS would be the least expensive anyway.
