UK users. Free listings for private sellers decrease from 1000 to 300 in October.

I didn't realise I posted this on the US ebay boards.  My bad.  I'll delete when i can find out how and repost on the UK boards.  Hi all.  Is anybody else as disgusted as I am at ebay reducing free listings per month (for private sellers from Oct 1st 2024) from 1000 to 300?  That's not a small drop at all and it will impact people massively.  I won't pay for my listings so I'll just use the 300 and stop there but there'll be a lot of people who will really be affected by this so badly.  Ebay has really screwed the seller over here once again.  Thoughts?

This is the eBay .com US boards.

I have never seen 1000 free listings in the US that was not a special offer.

The "free" listings in the US are 250 without a store and have been as long as I remember.

Listing limits probably prevented the majority of taking advantage of the 1000 free listings anyway.

I'd guess that this is part of ebay UK's push to remove private sellers that obviously are not.

  What applies in your country concerning eBay may not apply here in the US or other countries.  You may be better served by logging out of ebay.com and logging back into ebay.com/uk/  Here's your community forum link that may be helpful:
