Ebay,
I need an explanation as to why item 275118269881 failed inspection. This Turtle Dove Yeezy 350 was purchased by me directly from Villa. I'm it's only owner as well. For some reason this shoe did not pass inspection. I have the original box, packaging, and receipt. This makes zero sense. Your authenticators got this one wrong!

I guess the authenticator can make a mistake, but there is little that can be done once you fail authentication.
Who/what is Villa ?

Authenticators are not perfect and yet there seems to be no way or not worthwhile to appeal. You will likely have try selling on another site like Stock X or Goat

What has happened that tells you that they didn't pass inspection? Did eBay message you... and, more importantly, did eBay advise how you'll get them back?

This is the first time any shoe that I've sold didn't pass authentication. This applies to eBay, GOAT, or StockX. I take extreme pride in only selling authentic sneakers in good condition. I really really want to point out that eBay and it's authenticators messed up. The buyer is even more mad because he could easily tell they were authentic and he got them at a fair price. Very few Turtle Dove Yeezy 350 exist in this condition. I have a feeling the authenticators believe there's no way they look that that good even though they are worn.
Also I want to point out they authenticated 6 other Yeezys sold this week alone. My track record should mean something as well.
At this point I just need eBay to ship my shoes back in original condition, packaging, and receipt.
I want the authenticators and future sellers to see this and beware. I have zero confidence in selling rare, grail like shoes via eBay. You should use another platform for anything rare.

It said it failed authentication via the item listing. I knew something was weird because I had 5 other pairs get authenticated yesterday but this one didn't. So the buyer will get automatically refunded. I guess they will take the cash out my bank account because I've already received the payout. Apparently the rules are they will ship them back to me at no charge but we will see. I need my shoes back ASAP at this point. And I'm putting this incident here on the forum for all to see publicly. This just isn't right.

Buying from the factory does NOT mean they were authentic, so you cannot be 100% sure of anything. People 'send back' and 'refund' things all the time. $5000 handbags go back to Macy's, get refunded and 'resold' and the 'returner' gave them a fake, so then the 'next buyer' got just that...a fake.
I mean, what type of diploma does it require to work at a warehouse or be a clerk at, even a high end, store??

Maybe someone bought them before and returned them, but kept the real ones and replaced them with fake ones?

I may be mistaken, but I believe the authenticating service also checks for condition and other factors to ensure the shoes match the listing.
Maybe you missed a scuff mark or one happened in shipping?

Nope. These were ordered directly from Villa. This wasn't an instore purchase. These were purchased before grade A fake Turtle Doves even existed!!!!

Man check out the listing.

I've captured every angle from the insoles to the bottoms. I even zoomed in on the boost material because that's one of the ways to authenticate Yeezys. I covered all basis.
eBay's authenticators are just foul for this one. My exact shoes better be sent back too.

Grade A Yeezys didn't even exist yet to be snuck back into a warehouses inventory! Plus I got the receipt to match!!! With all original materials!
Are you sneakerhead? Are you knowledgeable about Yeezys? You gotta be a Yeezy fan and understand this release to relate to what I'm saying.
You tell me if these are fake?

Villa is a discount outlet store. I hate to tell you but many outlet stores are not reputable. We have one close by that sell fakes left and right. If you truly want to sell items that are in fact "real" you should stop buying form outlets.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Villa was one of the premiere urban retail stores in country. They were bought out and merged with DTLR. Some store locations are still branded as Villa/DTLR. They were one of the FEW stores to carry the early Yeezys back then and still does. This was a highly sought after release which is why this particular release was done online as well. It was chaos all across the country for these. Stop spreading ignorant lies. You have zero integrity with that comment.
And for the record NOTHING is discounted in Villa/DTLR. They rarely have sales!!! Heck DTLR.com still has this purchase showing in their order history till this DAY!!!!!
