Hi!
I have been trying to list my first item, but it is not possible, because I find my efforts falling in a futile loop:
I have only one draft to be listed:
manage drafts section
I click on Resume Draft and go to the Listing Editing page:
Listing Manager
I have already editted the listing, so I go to the List Item button. I hit it and get the following:
Request higher selling limits
Since I do not want to go back to the draft, I click on Verify through Customer Support:
Verify
I click Continue and land on this:
Selling limit increase
Note: my selling limit was not increased on 10/6/2021, unless the system counted one of my attempts to post the listing, when I landed on this page, for one of the ten times I have tried). I click on Learn more, to find myself here:
List one item
Question: How am I supposed to list an item and, subsequently, sell it when I constantly fall in such a loop?
It is impossible for me to proceed and list it! Please, note that it is the first, the one and only, item I am trying to list. I do not have many items nor have I ticked the bulk selling box (dicount if the customer buys more than one).
I am new to this, but wouldn't the expected concequence of things be to list the item normally, after having clicked on List Item? Why am I getting this "increase selling limit" message? It is only one item. Moreover, why am I getting the "advice" to list and sell at least one item, when this is impossible for me? After all, I didn't intend to ask for bulk selling, the system left me no other choice. How can I finally list my item?
Thank you in advance.

Hi, your selling limit is $500, but you're trying to list a quantity of 9 for an item that's over $250 - try changing your quantity to 1 (or 2 at $249.99).

You really need to start small, perhaps $20.00 - $25.00 items. As a New Seller you will be a magnet for scammers so you need to minimize your risk. What will you do when someone receives your $250.00 dress and claims that they received a ratty sweatshirt?

Therefore, it is as I guessed: the size variations count as bulk selling. Thank you very much.
