I'm trying to list items for the first time. I linked my paypal account, but in the "Listing Prefereces" box, it keeps telling me to make sure my paypal e-mail is correct, which it is. When I click to list, I first get a message that something is missing. When I click on that, I keep seeing the following in red: "To list this item, you need to accept PayPal or other approved electronic payments as a payment method."
How do I do this? I assumed linking my account was enough. I'm not even seeing an options screen, to allow me to click to accept paypal & credit cards. Am I doing something wrong, or is this a glitch in ebay tonight?

Customers can still use PayPal and other credit cards but EBAY no longer uses PayPal for their payment management system. You need to enroll in MANAGED PAYMENTS otherwise you cannot sell items on EBAY.
To enroll you need to provide CHECKING ACCT (routing number) and SOCIAL SECURITY#. Name on checking account, social security and EBAY profile page must be EXACT NAME (otherwise you application may be rejected).
With MANAGED PAYMENTS it takes 5-7 days AFTER sale before money is deposited into your checking account. EBAY deducts fees & shipping (balance is deposited into your checking account).
