As if I'm not already TOTALLY annoyed with this GTC / Auto-relist thing!!
So NOW, for example, I have 7 listings that will renew later today. I don't want them to renew.
It's my understanding (from reading ALL the related posts) that I must end the listing BEFORE it auto-relists.
When I do that, it asks me THE REASON :
1. Item no longer available
2. error in the listing
3.error in start price, etc.
4. item was lost or broken
THERE ISN'T ANY "NONE OF THE ABOVE"!
OR "BECAUSE EBAY WILL AUTO-RELIST AND I DON'T WANT TO RELIST IT!"
So, if I pick one of those, it will be a strike against me as it relates to seller performance.
PLEASE ADVISE!

You are misinformed - you will not get a defect if you choose "Item no longer available".
Also, if you select multiple listings from your seller hub and choose to end them all at the same time, you will not even be asked for a reason. I have ended THOUSANDS of listings this way in the past few months.

I just ended a listing and didn't have to select a reason at all. It simply stated "You have choosen to end the following listing(s). Review this information, then click End listing." The information it showed me was just the item number, name, and 30-day renewal date. Then the End Listing button.
I used to get that list you mention, but no longer. I can't understand why people get different process flows like this.
When I used to get that choice, I always selected Item No Longer Available or Error in Starting Price and never received a strike for it, but PLEASE do not do it based on my comment because eBay seems to change their rules constantly. Wait for other sellers to chime in. I think people were running into trouble when an option appeared for Out of Stock and they selected that option. They were receiving strikes for that one.

Hi!
In the some situation. TOTALLY annoyed with this GTC / Auto-relist thing! I sent request to administration I didn't wish GTC / Auto-relist thing, I would like cancel it on my account. But get an answer I have to pay first. Only after that they will cancel this service. So I removed two jackets from the listing just to wear them my salve, and I was charged by GTC / Auto-relist thing. it's very stressful and loosing money.

You cannot cancel GTC Auto-Relist on your account. It is now mandatory for all GTC listings for all sellers.
When customer support told you you had to "pay first", I believe they were referring to completely canceling your selling account. In order to cancel your account, it must be paid up and the window for buyer to request a return must have gone by.

This is all you have to do. check the listings you want to end. Select Action then End. You will not get any defects to your account. That is why it is called Good Till Canceled. The listing is good until you decide to end it, i.e. cancel.
