This isn't a complaint about not liking the format, I have an actual problem.
I have a customer that wants to be notified whenever I get empty stamp albums, pages or what not, and I send him a message (I tried from his feedback page and it opened the last messages we exchanged in July).
When I try to send, it says "something went wrong, try again later". I've tried like 10 times already, and revised the message several times in case I said something AI doesn't like. I don't know what else to do, there's no point in posting these for sale without knowing what sizes of stamp pages he wants, or if he's interested in the brands of albums I have.
My message:
Hi XXXXX, I have a lot of Vario/Anchor pages, some might another brand, but they are the black pages with the clear slide on each side.
I have all sizes except 7 rows. Some are nearly new, others had a souvenir sheet in them that I repacked and now I have the page.
I also have a bunch of hagnar pages (one sided, they're cardboard), you can have these as a bonus when I ship your next package.
Let me know if these are of any interest.

@nyr134 wrote:My communications with prior customers are almost all retained/copied on my email server (in my case, Comcast). When I have an item that I believe is of interest to them, I use a reply to an old Comcast message to contact them. Even now with eBay’s new messaging system, they have received these messages. And the new messages show up within eBay.
I kind of did that, but I used the email address eBay provided in the sales order (which I saved on every sales order since I print them to PDF, this is to protect myself in case of audit, not retain a ton of information).
So what I did is probably similar to what you describe, but I didn't think of going to my email and just hitting reply. I should try that next if he doesn't reply, then I'm going to send snail mail. I will apologize for bothering him if he's choosing to not answer, but explain the tech issue I'm having, it will be OK, he's been buying from me a long time.
I will come back here if I get an answer and share what the solution to my problem is, if I ever get a reply through eBay messaging.

OK, got an update!
The message I quoted in my original message (with details about the pages I have) went through when I used the eBay alias email address that was in the sales record. He replied back "yes I'm interested". I just replied to the message in my email, hoping that goes through (if sending to the email address works, replying probably works too).
Hopefully we'll work out details soon and I can get his pages listed. I have something like 300 pages, so I'm happy to declutter what I won't be needing.

Hi, ever since they changed the messages I have not been able to send a single message.
It simply doesn't work. More bad technology from ebay. It gets worse every year.
Why do they do this? Why dont they test these inferior methods?
Ebay needs a reset. An overhaul. Someone that knows what they are going.
It's gotten bad. And they don't want to take the time to fix it.
