Hey all,
Had a listing with 2 similar items. One sold. Trying to relist as a normal one item listing. I've deleted all the variations and extra pictures, but have encountered a show stopper. The quantity is listed as 0 (went to this when I deleted the variations) and I am unable to enter a price. The fields are there, but I can't type in them. And there is no box to check for Best Offer.
I hope I don't have to redo this listing from scratch, as it will be a big hassle. Any ideas?
THanks.

I have not personally run into this, and I do use variations listings. My guess would be that it takes at least 2 variations, to be considered a variations listing. Again, my guess would be that you have to cancel the variations listing and list it as the single item that it is. If that is the case, the workaround would be to show a second item or variation, and list it with a zero inventory count. It is ok to be out of stock on variations listings. If I am wrong, we both are about to be schooled, but the other helpful posters here.

Thanks for your insight. I deleted both variations, and the variation stuff in the listing form went away. It now looks like a normal listing except I can't change the quantity from 0, can't add a BIN price and there is no Best Offer selection to check.
Was thinking maybe for some reason it might be impossible to successfully change from variations listing to one item listing without starting from scratch, but I hope not.

I edited my original post to include a possible workaround. You can have a variations listing with variations that are out of stock, so you could just add some other item or variation and just show zero inventory for it.

That may be what I have to do. I thought it was confusing for the buyer and wanted to streamline it. But maybe not possible without more trouble than it's worth.
