Sold an item, shipping address was "invalid" . Pretty obvious it was a spelling error of the town. Confirmed with buyer, changed the address on the shipping page from Myebay, saved the popup change.

Change showed on that page in upper left.....

Printed the packing slip which showed the old address

refreshed page, still showing correct on shipping page, incorrect (old) on packing slip.

With that window left open, opened another window and went to SH Awaiting Shipment page...which, again, showed me invalid address, so the change in Myebay didn't go thru to SH page. Changed it there.....with same results.

Closed both pages, went back to check.......both showing the unchanged address.....did it all over in both places, same results.

Printed the label (after correcting again)......printed the corrected address.

Out of curiosity, after closing everything, went back to item and to "print another label"........shows the old, incorrect address......

So looks like updated address changes are NOT being saved........

Thanks for the explanation, Trinton. I can see keeping the original address, but do think the changed address should be noted somewhere in the order.......appreciate you passing it along.

In the emailed Shipping Label confirmation that's sent to your off-eBay email address, with the tracking number, recipient's name and so on, does it show you the address as it stood before you made your changes, or does it show you the final address as printed on the label?

The one from paypal shows no address/name, etc just that it was a payment to ebay shipping.....hasn't showed the order info in some time.

If there is an ebay confirmation, I don't get it.....

The eBay "You created and printed a shipping label" emails show the address, but I have no idea if they show the corrected address (I suspect not - probably generated from the sales record).
