Anybody else find this confusing? What exactly are they offering here?

@pls-consignments what does it say if you click "learn more"?

While they clearly didn't fill the number in correctly, I'm betting this is a promotion meant to get sellers to switch their Express payout from debit card to bank account.

It was one of the things announced at eBay Open - still a $2 fee though no matter which one you pick.

I don't have any specific insight, but would not be surprised if it's cheaper (in terms of processing fees) for eBay to do this new real time payout to a bank account than to a debit card.

If that is the case, then it sounds like eBay is trying to incentivize sellers to switch Express Payout to the bank account option with an offer for x many free payouts

And if so, all I can say to anyone doing so is watch the settings carefully because in the past eBay has had a habit of using these types of promotions to opt you in to having all of your scheduled payouts be "Express", incurring the fee for each and every one after the promo ends.

I have it.

Actually, for 2 bucks I can get my payout in 30 seconds.

When you want that 200 bucks now instead of waiting for Tuesday it helps in an emergency.

@pls-consignments

So you get 0 or no express payouts for free if you change to express payouts … what a fantastic incentive this isn’t!! 🤣

Looks like a template went live and they forgot to fill in the terms.

Was that on app, mobile web, or classic web @pls-consignments ?

True...I get paid on Tuesdays after 3PM with Express Payouts as a switch.

Otherwise, I can get charged 2 bucks if I want my funds immediately in available funds.

Or I can do the 1-3 days payouts offered in Express Payouts which is free.

The only drawback for this is you need to request that money for free before a Thursday.

I did once on a Thursday and got my funds on Tuesday anyway...LOL

I think I can only do that Monday-Wednesday for free to receive funds on a Friday through Express Payouts.

Classic pc web. I'm begining to question the sobriety of their marketing genius over this one.
