Transaction fees

Im confused on the bull**bleep** transaction fees. My total order payout for selling an item is $10.95 and ebay going to charge me $4. And some change for the transaction fee but i can transfer $300 from anerican express using my paypay account to another paypay account for $9.00 transaction fee. Looks to me ebay is the issue here and when american express was allowed on ebay they stopped that because ebay complained about transaction fees are to high but ebay is the one forcing a high fee. I swear ebay is becoming a junk place to sell anything these days. I like mecari because right now there is no selling fees and only $2.00 transaction fees

Transaction fees

Are you mistakenly counting your cost for the shipping label as part of the transaction fee?

Transaction fees

If you dislike eBay so much and like Mercari better, then it just makes sense for you to end your eBay listings and sell on Mercari.  No need to announce it here.

eBay's fees are not hidden.  You have all the access to know what they are before you list/sell anything.

Transaction fees

eBay's final value fee and the way it's calculated for sellers are clearly spelled out for your reading pleasure.

In most categories, it's 13.25% and is calculated on the total amount paid the seller by the buyer which includes the item price, the shipping fee and the state sales tax, if applicable.

If you'd like further help, feel free to post all the details of the transaction you are concerned about.

Not sure of the connection between American Express and eBay, but pretty sure that American Express could have read the fee schedule information as well.  It's not some deep, dark secret.
