I am really mad right now. I got a transaction defect for something that isn't even my fault. First of all Ebay states that I canceled because item was out of stock which I don't even know where they got that idea from because the item is in stock. Item was canceled at the request of buyer. I appealed and they declined my appeal which personally, I don't even think they read what I wrote. This is the story. A customer placed an order for a DVD and two minutes later a duplicate order is placed by the same person, which right away I suspected was a mistake by the customer. If they wanted 2 same items, they would have just bought 2 in one order. Anyway, since anything is possible, to make sure, I contacted the customer and asked her if she wanted 2 of the same item. She said no, that she didn't realized she ordered two and ask me to cancel one of the orders which I did and I used the "Buyer asked to cancel the item(s) in this order" option which is what appears in the cancellation transaction. So, where does Ebay get the idea that I canceled because item was out of stock and why do I get a transaction defect for something that is not my fault? Way to go Ebay with your unfairness!
