How do you just magically create traffic for you items. eBay is showing me comparision items with some of mine and how others are doing with similar items. My prices are actually lower than the compitition, but my traffic sucks. I have only been doing this for around 8 months is that the reason or what???? I must be missing something! Do I have to play in traffic to get hit with it????? Thanks for any ideas or criticisms I'll take it all. 🙂 Kristi

At a quick glane of your listings, you are using words that are kicking your listing out of google searches, as well as using not relevant search terms in your title listings.
For example. NWOT, Very Cute, &, 100% Cotton, Size, EUC, L, Preppy, NWT, Retro, NICE, etc. etc.
Don't do that.
Refine your descriptive words creatively for what someone might actually look for these items with.
Just one place to start.
Hope that helps.

Google: I'm looking for a, Very cute 100% Cotton Preppy shirt that's nice & retro in EUC or NWOT.
That's not how people search. But by your listing specifics and key words, how your asking them to search.
🙂 Yes that was a little bit over exaggerated. Just making a point.
Hope your sales pick up regardless.

I was told by a larger seller, not to use commas, don't use &, and don't use all capitals. In your description, after you have described the item, use the advanced tag over to the right and put size, color, etc, kind of like a bullet list, on what you are selling so at a glance, the buyer can see all the attributes at once at the botton of your description. I had her, for a price, to critique my listings and it has been better selling.

Hi,
Do you mind if I ask you who critiqued your site and how much did she charge? I have almost 450 listings and I only made 150.00 for the lat 7 days...yuck. Thanks in advance, Larry

I agree with what people are saying with keywords. But we do use creative keywords and our traffic is often very low compared to others as well. So, what do we know?
ebay uses Cassini search and no one really knows how it works. But I think it often self fulfills its own prophecy. If it thinks you're going to get bad traffic, it makes sure you do get bad traffic.
I'd also offer free shipping, work the cost into your prices. Also realize that clothing is highly competitive and (it seems) a market constantly slumping. Most people with questions like yours seem to be selling clothes.
Good luck!
