Trading card shipping

I have just recently tried selling single trading cards. When I created the listings I was able to use .25" as a dimension and had the other dimensions as a standard envelope, and I chose the trading card shipping option.  Each time I have sold a card, which has been 4 times, I can't put .25" as dimension, rounds up to 1".  So I am forced to either send the card first classing shipping, $3.51 or just mail without confirmation.  What am I doing wrong?

Re: Trading card shipping

Is your listing in the category of single trading cards? If it is in lots or multiples, I don't think that you can use standard envelope.  I don't know why it would allow you to use it as a choice on the listing though.

Sorry about the double post, I didn't see that ebay had placed my question in the forum

Re: Trading card shipping

No it wasn't.  I was selling 5 or 6 cards in a lot.  When I read the trading card shipping page it stated that I could ship up to 15 cards, so I thought this would be ok.  Was I wrong?

Re: Trading card shipping

Change it to singles instead of Lot and you should be good to go.

Re: Trading card shipping

Is the total sale price > $20? I know the 'eBay Trading Card Envelope...' has a price limit set of $20 or less, also I've always just put '0' for the dimension and have never ran into any issues doing it personally. As long as the weight is correct I don't forsee there being an issue (unless of course it goes over 1 in., but then you can just use whole numbers at that point).

Re: Trading card shipping

Why are you entering dimensions. First class does not require it. Enter first class, same charge to all buyers in your listings and the option for the envelope comes up in your shipping process. Pretty easy. Use it every day.

Re: Trading card shipping

I could use help with this also, when I put a trading card in the Toploader to protect it, it puts the weight over the 3 ounces and won’t allow me to do the dollar five shipping, I don’t want to charge a buyer $3.85 for shipping on a dollar purchase
