Tracking

I have had much frustration from ebay on orders that have the same tracking..one is updated and one did not. The buyer through this glitch received his refund and then left negative feedback I send both orders with the same tracking showing the one being delivered and one with no info....ebay in its widom did not do ANYTHING!!! Said it was not delivered...I responded...we cannot have multiple orders with the same tracking to the same buyer/// No response...Please Help!!

Just to be clear, are you putting two orders in the same parcel that were paid separately and using the same tracking number for both?  Not quite sure from your post how the "same tracking" number updating problem can happen.  

I do see that you use the eBay's standard envelope shipping and have complaints about same.  That service, while inexpensive, has tracking and basically 'delivery' scan problems all the time.  While you can file the insurance claim when buyers claim 'item not received', you are at the mercy of the buyer to be honest.

Yes..there in the same ebay envelope....2 different orders both with the same tracking. When you buy one postage for the first order...you copy the tracking number and update the other oder with that same tracking. Sent 1000's that way...every once in awhile you geta glitch where one order updated but the second does not.

So when this happens, and the "second" tracking number for the combined order doesn't update, your buyers may file INR on the "second" tracking number, and you are forced to refund?  If that is the case, I would contact eBay through one of their social media portals, and ask for their assistance. Be very clear on what is going on, and perhaps provide the order(s) for which this happened.  You will be able to upload screen shots to illustrate your point once they answer and confirm though the option below that you choose.   These are US based agents than can deal with the more "peculiar" goings on on eBay, or more serious issues of a monetary or fraud problems.  Since "cards" of this nature are one of their favored 'vertical' genres, maybe you can get some help.

Were any of these sales a result of "offers"?  Since your setting requires a payment source upfront, and would result in "auto-billing" your buyer to be paid in full separately for each, it may be interfering with the process as well.  Typically, eBay would not allow you to post the same tracking number if it was already used.   Don't really know, but you need to find out.

I did that,,,,,could not do anything.....since they cannot adjust feedback they have to escilate...no Guarentte it will be changed. Results...EBAY DOES NOT CARE IF THE SELLER FEEDBACK IS UNJUST!!!

I, as a buyer have multiple showing that way. Same tracking # on the purchases that were combined in the same envelope.  Only one shows delivered, others do not. 

 

I don't ship ESE, so I don't know the mechanics of combining these, but there may be a procedure that needs to be followed to make it show for all, or just another eBay glitch.
