As the seller this situation leaves a bad taste. We get ripped off in this situation and it isn’t good business. The cost should atleast be split 50-50.

If tracking shows delivered the seller doesnt need to do anything BUT put the tracking number in the case.
Not sure what cost should be split. Buyers do not get a refund if the item shows delivered.

If the tracking shows "delivered" and the buyer claims it was not delivered and files a INR (item not received) case, all the seller has to do is respond to the case with the tracking number and the seller will win the case and owe NOTHING. Why would you want to split 50/50?

If your tracking shows delivered then you don't have to refund anything.
Tell them to check with their PO to see if it was misdelivered (they have GPS) and see if it can be retrieved by the carrier.

Hi @flyrod4chrome —As others said, if tracking shows delivery (or delivery attempt), this is one of the few times where actual seller protections are granted to those of us who sell on eBay. This is where eBay will support the seller against a buyer’s Item Not Received claim in a Money Back Guarantee case. So you should never get ripped off when tracking proves the item was delivered. What happened?

Why would you say such a thing?
If tracking shows 'delivered': Buyer is SOL.
NOT the seller!

So many times we get a post like this and the OP never returns.
Not much point just venting when we might be able to offer advice so you're not SOL.
