Tracking for South Africa package

Does anyone know a site that can possibly give me more detailed tracking info for this package that was shipped to South Africa? USPS UA927335223US

I know how certain countries you can use USPS tracking in different sites to find further tracking statuses. Thanks in advance.

Tracking for South Africa package

I went to USPS.COM and entered that tracking number.  The latest info is as follows:

Your item was processed through our LOS ANGELES CA INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION CENTER facility on September 1, 2019 at 3:57 am. The item is currently in transit to the destination.

I don't think there will be any updated info until the package is actually scanned as DELIVERED.

There is a link at the site to request updated info to be sent to your email address.  Have you tried that?

There usually is that link (I'm sure we're both talking about within USPS site), but that link is gone for this tracking number for some reason. Do you see it? Because I don't.

Well, what do you know!  USPS has changed that screen and no longer has a link to receive updated info via email.  I searched the obvious options, and it appears it no longer exists.  Bummer.  I used that link often when international buyers hadn't received their packages by the estimated delivery date.  Thankfully those buyers were patient, and their packages were finally delivered several weeks later.

Actually I just checked myself. My other orders still have that link for them to email you. I checked with both domestic and international orders. Perhaps USPS won't notify me via email for packages being sent to South Africa specifically for some reason?

Are you able to check any of your older international orders to see if that link shows up? Doesn't matter what country, I just want to see if you have it too. Thanks

Looking at your tracking looks like you sent this 1st class to South Africa, you will not have any further tracking after it leaves the USA , just hope you have an honest buyer who will not notice you will not receive a delivery notice.

Going forward unless it is a USPS Delcon country that does provide tracking for 1st class packages and can be followed on the receiving countries Postal Website always use a tracked service to cover yourself.

Where can you find a list of the Delcon countries? Ebay postage labels used to let you know when it's not by giving you a red text notification as you make the postage (they conveniently got rid of that notification with the new shipping labels page). I always forget which countries are and aren't Delcon.

I hope not... Could it be that the update option is not offered because it's been longer than two weeks since the last update? Two weeks is the longest that you get with any update request, after which you can (usually) renew it. I don't have any international packages en route at the present time that I could check on right now.

I agree that I'm not seeing the update option for that tracking number either. The South African Post Office website recognizes the number as US-based (which isn't all that difficult, of course), but has no further info on it, so it does not appear to have been scanned at all in that country. Given that they are not a member of the e-DELCON network and there is no scan icon on the label as a result (i.e. there is the usual barcode, but no international directive to scan it, without that little scanner icon), then it's not likely that it's going to appear on-line later on. You may need to refund the buyer if they file an INR for this.

As mentioned previously you will not get any tracking info with a UA prefix on 1st class international once it has left the US, Cross your fingers and hope for no INR, there is no way of knowing with this service, tracked service only with countries outside of Delcon.

Remember to keep in mind that there are countries on this list notorious for their customs delays.  I blocked Brazil, Italy, and France for just those reasons.

But I LOVE that Japan has been added!
