Top Rated -additional please

In February I asked how being Top Rated (not plus) benefited me. I received many quality answers and I appreciate that.  There were also varying answers which was sometimes confusing - but I understand that happens.

I really need to know where in eBay I can find these benefits. I have actually read them before and they were confusing as they were not clearly defined. This probably is why I was given varying answers.

One link was given but it now gives an error message with top of page saying "We looked everywhere"

Please give me directions?  I appreciate you all and your willingness to assist

You can ask the moderators to lock your thread if you want to do so, by clicking the three dots at the top right of your OP, choosing report inappropriate content, and then typing, I am the OP and I wish to lock my thread.  Click notify the moderator at the bottom of that box, and they will take care of it for you.

Yea... that shows even if you call eBay and ask, you also might get varying answers from different agents. Honesty I think it is because nowadays TRS (not plus) benefits are pretty much negligible compared to a normal seller status.

You have a very wonderful and valid question.  Unfortunately the current policy pages do not list it in summary as they should.  A month or so ago I noticed that when I was trying to research something, so I brought the issue to the Weekly Chat team.  They have turned the issue over to the appropriate department to update and revise the policy so that this information is easy to find.

There are a handful of benefits for being TRS.

Boost in Search returns

Discount on some classes of shipping

$30 Quarterly Coupon on Promoting Listings

TRS badge on your FB page

Insurance on PM shipments are increased from $50 to $100

And that is about it for now.  But anything could change.

No.

While there aren't a great deal of benefits, TRS never had a long list of benefits even in the beginning.  But they aren't negligible to many.  Personally I especially like the discount on shipping charges.  That saves me money and I always like that.

Being TRS is not that hard as Ebay doesn't ask anything of me that I wasn't doing long before they started the TRS program.  So for me, I appreciate what little there is in benefits.
