Just have looked at my last order transaction details. The total with the shipping - domestic, to DE - was $65.57; the fees were $9.85 ( 15.022%) and included international sale fee, because as the rep told me, the buyer had account registered overseas. And those 15% are after my "Top Rated Plus discount" which by the way was less than that international fee.

So wait because the BUYER'S account is located overseas YOU have to pay more? I haven't come across that, but thank you so much for this heads up...
Things are getting crazier and crazier around here... 😞
I sold a pricier item (for me, more than $10 is pricey to sell LOL) but this was like, $60... and I thought my fees were extremely high.... I'm gonna go have another look at that now.

We have been paying higher fees for international account holders - this isn’t new. Before PayPal was charging the higher fee. One great thing about MP is that sellers are more aware of the fees that are charged. Unfortunately, so many think that these fees are new. They are not new - they are just coming from eBay, not PayPal.

Welcome to Fee Bay. Happened to me too. You just have to suck it up. I miss the pre-2007 ebay where fees were much simpler and customer service was responsive with quick solutions. I don't even bother with customer service any more. It is a waste of time.
The hidden ebay international & other carrier label fees as well as fees on shipping are ridiculous. I paid over $250 on hidden label fees. I feel your pain.
You can already tell that they are losing sellers with not much items in many categories. I know ebay is a business and they have to survive, but Ebay is not going to last in the long term in its current direction. All these nit picky fees on just about everything is killing us sellers.
I would like to discuss this in a positive way with the CEO of ebay, but I know that will never happen. We all want to see ebay succeed, but much needed changes are needed for sellers to prosper too.

Agree, the fees aren't new. I was referring to Ebay fees, not Paypal fees. I hadn't done international sales in a few years and when I started it back up again, I got charged double shipping fees when I selected the cheapest shipping option (ebay global international shipping program). Several weeks later, I noticed I had over $250 in label fees deducted (again).
The additional "hidden" shipping label fees need to be transparent for all sellers.

PayPal charged an extra 1.5% fee for buyers registered in another country, now that you’re not using PP eBay charges 1.65% so it’s a bit more.
I’m not sure what you are talking about with being charged double shipping fees as that doesn’t normally happen unless it’s a FedEx surcharge...that is a problem. If it isn’t about FedEx though you may want to start a new thread on that so that someone can help you.
