How about a thread that encourages people to work within the rules and guidelines of Ebay? Those people would have a much more pleasent experience as buyers and sellers if they just operated within those "limitations", instead of constantly complaining about them, no?
Thoughts?

B-Man if you think she was asking about his sales instead of announcing as a statement his sales then I would suggest re-reading her mistake again.

Rose couldn't agree more - many sellers here don't want to touch anything they can't make a $10+ profit on and that's cool - but if I can pick something up for 25 - 50 cents and make $5 to $9 dollars on it - it's money in my pocket. Then like you said - you find that one item that makes you enough that covers all your purchases you made that week - so the rest is all gravy money.

No mistake made, accurate.

Sometimes I think that sellers can not see the larger picture of smaller items. They just see only a couple of bucks and potentially a lot of work making one listing.
Years ago, when I had my B&M vintage clothing store, I bought a Medium FR box stuffed full of generic cuff link/stud sets at an auction for $12. I rented out tuxedos and really could use them. I made my money back before I closed my store, but I listed them on ebay over the years and a week wouldn't go by without me shipping out at least one set. Yes, they were only $3-5 (price went up as postage did) extra in my pocket, but I made well over $500 off them just from ebay sales. Who doesn't like that kind of money once they realize they can make it?
I spent only $8 on the entire pile of stuff that had the badges in it, some vintage Vera Bradley and a Coach shoulder bag, so it isn't hard to make it back. I never had luck spending big bucks on items that are supposed to resell for big bucks, so I am loathe to spend more than $10 for any one item I am going to resell.

Ok, if you say so. That wasn't the point though! One or two, doesn't matter.
Congrats on your sales!

The lady wanted the stuff gone and I picked up something that didn't have a price tag and her response when I asked the price was 'make me an offer, you'll be glad you did'. So I did and started a huge pile of goodies that included a large lot of MOC Girl Scout patches I bought for about two pennies a piece and I am making up the listings for ebay today at around $5 each.
I'm a bit surprised you are not sending them to Etsy. Or are these post 1997?

2000 - 2011, not old enough. I wish they were, but I can use the word retired, always a selling point. Next freebie special, up they go.
