Today's pet peeve -- search changing what I type

I have a crystal unicorn paper weight/bookend. I couldn't remember who made it, and It chaps my behind when I type in a brand name like Kosta Boda, Villeroy & Boch, or Orrefors, and the system can't cope with the brand name and tries to guess what I really want when what I really want is for it not to have a sh*t fit and change what I've typed. There are hundreds, if not thousands of items by these companies, what gives?

Actually...

I believe you would need to go into your dewice settings and turn off auto-complete.

I am using Chrome on a PC and I do not have an issue.

I typed all three names above (Kosta Boda, Villeroy & Boch, Orrefors) and the eBay search engine did not change the spelling of any of them. In fact eBay even has seperate categories for those brands.

Are you sure this is not the auto-complete function of the device or software you are using?

Well, I am on the iPad this morning, so you think it is the iPad and not eBay?
